MET GALA 2024
My role: Art Director & Strategic Lead
For the MET Gala 2024, I created a concept that translated the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” into a multi-layered narrative rooted in nostalgia, reflection, and dreamlike beauty — delivering a visually rich and emotionally resonant campaign under tight, high-stakes conditions.

AWKWAFINA, ADWOA ABOAH, PALOMA ELSESSER, QUANNAH CHASINGHORSE, HARI NEF, AND STEFON DIGGS WERE THE CELEBRITIES DRESSED BY H&M FOR THE MET GALA 2024.
Execution & Outcome
Delivered a cohesive campaign that captured the MET Gala’s magic from every angle, blending elevated visuals with personal, community-driven storytelling.
Engaged audiences across H&M’s and Bernard’s platforms, reinforcing brand credibility within the fashion conversation.
Executed flawlessly in a high-pressure, real-time environment — with no room for second takes.

Strategic Approach:
The idea was born from the iconic line “Mirror, mirror on the wall…”, sparking a creative concept built around mirrors — both literal and metaphorical — to reflect different dimensions of the night.
Designed content to move fluidly between formats: from raw selfies and kaleidoscopic effects to polished editorial storytelling, offering a 360° view of the event.
Invited BERNARD, a London-based fashion influencer known for his daily fashion reporting, to join the campaign. He interviewed H&M’s designers in New York and covered the MET experience on his own channels, adding reach and cultural relevance.
Managed multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and celebrity involvement — where every moment had to land perfectly in real time.
HELLO BERNARD

From a brand perspective, leveraging Bernard’s channels organically presents an opportunity to build fashion credibility and strengthen H&M’s positioning as a true fashion brand.
